i remember the very first one of these... they where never supposed to be a production bike.
You are right, Thomas. Oddly enough this is one of the original 50. Pays to know folks, I guess. And as far as production goes, I believe there was another 150 made because some bitchy, whiny sales folks at Raleigh, who scoffed at the idea of this frame set had to have some because their accounts needed to have them to ride. Not sell on craigslist for twice as much as they paid for them.
